Treatment options may include image-guided injections, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, ultrasound assessments, medication management, and tailored return-to-play planning.

Sport Medicine Physicians are recognized as medical specialists in the province of Ontario. The good news is, consultation and basic appointments with Medicine Doctors are covered under your OHIP plan. Less conveniently, Ontario residents can not book directly with a Sport Medicine Doctor. If you would like to see one of our doctors, you will first need a referal from your primary care physician. That could be a family doctor, a nurse practitioner or it could come from a walk-in clinic or emergency room. The fastest way to book with our team is to have your doctor send over a referral directly.
